About SightWork

SightWork isn’t a site in the traditional sense; we’d use the term multiplex if it hadn’t been co-opted by by shopping malls and movie chains. The organization is a reflection of both our interests and our work. Don’s day job is as a senior consultant for Instructional & Information Technologies at Syracuse University where he is also an adjunct instructor in the School of Art’s Department of Transmedia. Shel has a master’s degree in Adult Studies and work’s with several local community art organizations. As a team they create digital art and are responsible for the SightWork Web. There are three main sites:

  • SightWork: is personal, philosophical, and the home of number of tutorials designed to help other artists promote themselves and their work.
  • Learning Aesthetics: is Don’s work blog. It’s primarily concerned with with new technology developments and their impact on learning and society.
  • SightWork Studio: is where theory and philosophy take form. It’s a gallery of our past work, and a running history of the works evolution.
