Playing Catch-UP
Abilene Christian University is planning on giving 900 or so students who will start at the university this fall the choice of an iPhone or an iPod Touch (which can connect to the Internet via wireless networks but does not function as a cellphone). They’ve put out the following fictionalized video to ‘explain’ where they’re headed; just how ‘fictionalized is the question. Our generic problem is that our vision outstrips the possibilities, and the possibilities will take so much time to actualize that something else will have replaced them before we can implement; still it’s worth spending 20 minutes watching the following:
