Mark Pesce doesn’t post that often but when he does it becomes a kind of ‘web-must-read’ that is it goes viral in a lot of circles. This post has a lot of history covering file&music sharing, BitTorrent, Dark Nets etc. Like most of his posts it longish, and well worth it. I haven’t had time to really absorb this article and I’ll probably have more to say about it, what what’s initially most interesting is that he makes me think about where things are headed instead of just more politics about ’sharing’ versus ’steeling’.
