Bringing back the Music

Being a graduate of the 60’s Haight-Ashbury leaning environment I have for the past several years been, I guess you could say, missing the music.  Every now and then something like Death Cab for Cutie or The Be Good Tanya’s would appear on the radar, but I more or less assumed that all that was happening was speedmetalpunkrappopbrittenybeyonce50cent with an occasional nod back to Madonna, Prince, and Tom Petty doing the Super Bowl half time.  Enter Pandora a web service that lets you enter a song/artist/album and then creates a streaming web-radio station which plays ’similar’ tunes.  Give it a try; I guarantee you’ll be astounded at how much music is out there and how much of it you like.  If you get addicted and want to take the next step here’s a link from the Download Squad that will improve you mileage:
